What makes an object an heirloom? Is it age, beauty, or the memories it holds? Can a simple bowl or candleholder become something treasured for generations?
In this two-part workshop, we’ll explore these questions through clay—creating meaningful, lasting pieces that carry personal stories and are made entirely by hand.

Something to keep, to gift, or to pass on—made by your hands and meant to be cherished.
First session:

Handbuilding & Clay Exploration

This is a relaxed, beginner-friendly introduction to working with clay, perfect for getting familiar with the material and discovering its creative potential.
You'll learn how to shape, join, and sculpt your piece, while gaining a feel for clay's texture and behavior. By the end of the session, you'll have designed and built your own unique ceramic piece, ready for drying and the next stages of the process.

Second session:

Glazing & Finishing Touches

In this second session, you'll glaze the piece you created in the first workshop. I'll show you how to apply colour, add decorative details and experiment with different glazing techniques.
